How can I override comment settings for individual articles?

  Hello, I tried closing comments within 2 weeks, but then people just swamp my pages with comments. This sentence is shown in my discussion settings: (These settings may be overridden for individual articles.) But it doesn’t let me do that on article. I would rather they comment on individual posts within a time frame instead of making general comments on my three pages. Is there any way I can close comments on my pages only?

  Pages > All Pages: click Quick Edit under the page title, uncheck the option “Allow Comments”, click Update.
