How can I pay for domain renewal when it is registered to another person?
-
It is time to renew the domain registration for our website.
The renewal notice was sent to the original registrant and was forwarded to me. In previous years I have been able to pay for the renewal from my account. Now I cannot figure out how to add the renewal to my purchases.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have asked the registrant for help using his login. Thanks.
Can I tell you his login and email, or is this forum not private, or do you already know these things?

This is a public forum, so don’t mention it here. And as staff I can already see who the owner is. If he’d like to transfer ownership, we have a how-to here:

The original domain owner has transferred the registration to a new admin user that I have created for this purpose. The new user has an email that is more directly tied to us and that I can see.
Now I can see the renewal on the new owner’s Purchases. I have added my credit card. But when I click Renew Now it wants to charge me $89, including a Premium subscription. Or it looks like I could let it renew automatically on 12/27/2016 for $26. Which should I do?

Hm, try heading here while logged in as the owner account:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchasesClick on the domain, then click “Renew Now”.
