How can I post my Amazon Associates links to my WordPress.com blog?
-
I read in this thread: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/affiliate-link?replies=89 that Amazon Associates links are okay on real blogs. Mine is a real blog, and occasionally I write book reviews and would like to include links to the books in Amazon through my Amazon Associates Account. Unfortunately, the html code that I copied and pasted from the Amazon Associates page seems to get stripped out every time I save the post. Below is an example of the code I copy and pasted into the post. How can I post my Amazon Associates links to my WordPress.com blog without violating WordPress terms and policy?

How do I select the HTML-only link option? I don’t see it on the Amazon Associates page. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for this. The code you posted is already HTML only, so it should work.
When you paste the code into your post window, are you clicking the Text tab first, to make sure the code is being added in the HTML view? It’ll look something like this screenshot:

If you’re not clicking the Text tab and accidentally pasting the code in Visual mode, it won’t work. Let me know if this helps!
