How can I post something without sending it to subscribers?

  I’d like to put up a post that anyone can access, but that will NOT automatically go out to subscribers. Is there any way to do this?

  If you publish it as a Page instead, it won’t be sent to subscribers, but there is no way to prevent a Post from being sent to subscribers.
