How can I post widescreen Vimeo instead of letterbox?

    Hi all,

    I am able to successfully post videos from Vimeo using the code [vimeo 123456] (not real numbers), but I am frustrated that my widescreen videos are automatically letterboxed when they play on my post. My blog is video-based and it is a huge bummer to see stuff I shot widescreen with annoying black boxes on it. These videos play in widescreen mode on the Vimeo site. Does anyone have a fix?
