How can I prevent comments?

  I have unchecked both comment boxes in settings, yet the comments continue.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Don,

  I see that you’re still getting comments on your “About the author” page, which still has comments enabled:

  http://toxicfreehealth.net/about-the-author/

  You can edit that page and uncheck the box next to “Allow Comments” (near the bottom of the Advanced Settings section) to disable comments on that page.

  Another option, if you want to be sure comments are disabled on all of your posts and pages, is to change them all in bulk with these steps:

  1. Go to the Posts > All Posts screen in your site’s WP Admin dashboard.
  2. Select the posts you would like to modify or check the box next to “Title” column at the top to select all posts on that page.
  3. Select Edit from the Bulk Actions drop down menu.
  4. Click the Apply button.
  5. Change the option for Comments to Do not allow.
  6. Click the Update button.
  7. Repeat with your Pages.
