How can I prevent More-Tag shifting several entries instead of just one?

    Re: https://visioningkingston.wordpress.com/

As a WordPress novice, I split the initial content entry on the top post using the more-tag. Two other entries (dated 19 October and 23 June) follow the initial entry. Instead of just the follow-on content after the more-tag, the other two entries also shifted to the second post.
Clearly I need to add a section break (or equivalent) so that the other two entries remain on the top post.

    Suggestions and advice please.

You currently only have one published post on your blog, where you’ve entered multiple entries.

When adding a new post, you don’t need to edit the existing one, but instead you’ll want to create a new post, at Posts->Add New in your dashboard.

Newer posts will automatically appear above the older ones in your blog.

To fix the current situation, you should split that one post you currently have in multiple posts. You can backdate the posts you enter using the “Publish” module in post editing screen.

If you’re just getting started, you might find http://learn.wordpress.com useful.

    Hope this helps.
