How can I prevent my own page views from affecting my stats?
-
Hello! Today I noticed that whenever I view my page it is counted in my stats. I tested it a few times to be sure and the numbers are definitely from me. I’m logged into my account during all page views. Could you please help? Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

As long as you’re logged in as the owner of the site and your site’s visibility is set to public, your visits should not be reflected in your stats:
If I’ve misunderstood the issue, or if you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks for your response! I’m currently logged in as the owner and my website is set to public, but my views are still being counted. I’m positive they are from me. This has never happened before, so I’m wondering if it may be something else?

My blog is still in the beginning stages so I don’t have a ton of readers at the moment. :) I noticed that my stats would increase immediately after I clicked around and they showed the same posts that I clicked on. Thanks for your help!

An advantage of having a WordPress.com site is that it helps other WordPress.com users find your content. It’s possible that other users are discovering your site and perusing the same content you’ve been examining.
Over time, you will most likely find this to be the case, but if you still have a concern, let me know, and I will investigate the issue further.

Hello, I’m still experiencing this issue and know for certain the clicks are my mine. I appreciate your help!
