How can I prevent tonnes of SPAM?!

    Please help me! I have 152 SPAM emails received over 3 days in my email inbox that I use for the contact from my wordpress site and the majority of them have apparently come from my wordpress site (see below). I have tried disabling comments on the wordpress site but that has made no difference and I am thinking of deleting it altogether. I have not listed my email address any where on the site. It is just getting too difficult to maintain :(

    Are you referring to the e-mails that your receiving as spam? If so, those emails appear to be notification emails from WordPress.com:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/comment-notification-email/
