How can I properly set akismet spam plugin

    First of all, I want to use this medium to thank the wordpress community for this awesome platform you created. I have been earning from online ever since I heard and started using wordpress.

    Recently, I installed the spam plugin because I was getting load of spam comments on my two websites. I installed the spam plugin on my tech blog

    but I am having problem setting it.

    The other question is that I don’t know if its possible to install the plugin on my other website, its using osclass and its a free classified website

    . I want to stop spam comments once and for all.

    It sounds like the site is using the WordPress installation rather than WordPress.com. Is that right? Could you please share the site URL and I can confirm. This way I can get you pointed to the right place for help.

    Yes, you can install Akismet on a WordPress site.
