  We have a free WordPress.comPlan that you can create a blog or a website for free.

  These documents are going to help you get familiar with WordPress.com and get a free site up and running. I’d suggest starting this way and then, once you feel more comfortable with things you can upgrade.

  I am confused. I just wanted to publish something without creating the website and not paying first. I just started wrong by creating my own site whereas I just wanted to write. Hang in there because I just want to publish something and information is not that straight forward as I had imagined.

  You do need to create a site with us before you can publish anything, but don’t need to pay anything to have a site with us. Your site at https://indras631969163.wordpress.com/ is completely free, and will remain free unless you decide to upgrade it.

  To write on that site, go to My Site ->Site ->Posts ->Add New. That will take you to the editor where you can write and publish your first post on the site.
