How can I purchase a domain for my blog via direct debiting system?

    Hello, I am trying to register a domain for my blog ‘Schweigen im Walde’. When I tried for the first time I chose the option to pay with Paypal because I don’t have a credit card. I filled in all the information and finally were transferred to the Paypal website. There I saw the options to either log in with Paypal OR pay via direct debiting system OR credit card.

    I then made the big mistake to choose the login because I thought it was convenient (I already have a Paypal account). So I logged in and then Paypal asked me to fill in my bank data – but when I did it it said there was a problem because this bank account was already registered with my Paypal profile. Yes, it is, of course, because I have a Paypal account! But there was no way to skip this point or to get further on. Paypal obviously wanted me to register a NEW payment method / bank account (which I don’t have).

    I cancelled the process several times and tried to get back to the first page I saw in the beginning, but it wasn’t possible. I always got stuck at the point where I should fill in my bank data.

    What can I do now? I would like to pay via direct debiting system (Lastschriftverfahren in German). I would be grateful for some help!

    Below are the only accepted means of payment.

    WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

    If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country. Note: You can buy a prepaid credit card from an approved country.

    In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

    The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.
