How can I purchase a domain mapping upgrade without a paid plan?

    Hi there,

    Earlier this year I purchased a domain mapping upgrade on another account. This account was on the free plan and I was able to just pay $17 AUD to map a domain I already own to a website on that account.

    Now, on this account and another account I am setting up for a friend, I can’t seem to map a domain name without upgrading to a paid plan. On the account from earlier this year, I still have the option to map another domain without upgrading.

    Please, can someone help me to map a custom domain without purchasing a paid plan on another account?

    Hi there,

    While you can renew an existing domain mapping upgrade, it’s not possible any long to purchase it separately.

    The Personal Plan includes domain mapping as well as other key features like no advertising, support from Staff by email and live chat. You can learn more about it here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/
