How can I put a blog page inside a wordpress blog?

Hi, One of the pages that appears in the menu I have created is BLOG. Inside that page I would like to post different entries, could you please tell me if that is possible and how to do it?

Each WordPress.com site can have only one blog or posts page. By default the posts page displays on on the front page. If you would like your posts to instead display on a another page, then a static page can be assigned to do that. However, this can only be done if another static page is assigned to display on the front page. The front page options can be found at the top of Settings > Reading or at Customize > Static Front Page.See the Set a Static “Home” Page (Front Page) support page for instructions.
In your specific example, the static page “Blog” can only display posts if you assign it to display your posts at Settings > Reading or at Customize > Static Front Page. However, as noted above, you’ll have to assign a static page, a different static page (not “Blog”), to display on the front page.

I found this whilst searching for the answer to my problem. I’ve set a static page as my home page and another page as my blog page. This is all working as advertised. However, I’d like my blog page to still show the sidebar with links to archives, other posts, etc. At the moment it only shows a top-down list of posts and nothing else. Is there a way to get the blog page to look like the old home page (by and large)?
