  I am planning to make some major changes to my wordpress.com site, and would like to know how I can close my page to visitors temporarily?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  While you’re making changes to your site, you can make your site private by following the instructions here: https://wordpress.com/support/settings/privacy-settings/

  Once you’re done with the changes, you can change the status of your site back to Public so that visitors can see the site again.

  Hi @storygenie5,

  Go to your dashboard menu > settings > general
  Once you are there scroll down a bit and you will find privacy.
  You can then change it from public to private or coming soon.

  However, this link should take you there directly.
