How can I put Paypal buttons on the static sidebar?
-
I want to put a Paypal button (buy now or donate) in the sidebar area so it will show on each page that displays the sidebar.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Use a text widget to display it.

P.S. Widgets now have “visibility” settings so we can select which pages they display on. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility By default they are set to display on all pages displaying a sidebar/footer area for widgets.

You need to make sure that your theme is widget ready. You can find this out by going to Appearance » Widgets. There you will see bunch of registered widget locations toward the right. Drag the Text widget to the appropriate sidebar, and then add the code like this in there.

All this tells me is how to do it in a page or post it doesn’t cover how to do it in a widget. I’m just not getting how I can do this.

WAHAHAHA! NVM! I figured it out. I just had to do it in a page then switch to text mode and copy the code and paste it into the widget. Thanks anyway guys. Your the best!
