How can I put the Authors' actual names and not their username?

The authors’ username doesn’t help anyone who knows them outside of the blog world, which is most of our readers, identify them. I would like to be able to put their Full names as the author instead of their username.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Each and everyone of us has the choice of blogging under our actual name or under a pseudonym.

On the user’s Profile page, they can change the “nickname” to whatever they want. First they put in the desired name in the box, then Save, then they go back and select it from the drop-down list. There is also a more permanent way to change usernames, but we get a lot of complaints about it and I cannot recommend it.
