how can I re-order my Posts?

Just started a new blog and I can’t get the Posts in the right order, inspite of clicking on ‘sticky’.
It’s a series of separate country walks plus three or more introductory posts which must go at the front. Is ‘Kelly’ the wrong theme? Should I use Pages not Posts? Should I delete and start again from scratch?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there. Posts by default display in reverse chronological order (i.e. most recent first) on your home page. You can’t change this.

If you want certain posts to always appear at the top, but different themes treat that differently.

Looking at the content of the two posts you currently have as sticky, I’d suggest you publish that information on pages instead. Pages generally work better for indexes, as you don’t have to worry about post orders. They’ll always be right there in your menu and visitors can just click on the right menu link to see the page, no matter where on your blog they are at the moment.

You can’t convert posts to pages, so you’ll have to copy the information from the post editor, create a new page, and paste the information in the page editor. After you publish the page, go back and delete the post.

Let me know if you need more help with this.
