How can I record my blogs under my domain name?
-
hello, I’ve just purchased a domain name and I would like to have my blogs addresses as paths under this new domain: e.g. mydomain.com/blog1, mydomain.com/blog2. How can I do that?
Thank you in advance.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
WordPress.com doesn’t support mapping blogs to a sub-directory, however they do support mapping to a sub-domain. The way to do this would be to map one blog to your domain, then another to your sub-domain (so one blog would be “mydomain.com” and the other would be “blog2.mydomain.com”). The instructions for mapping to your primary domain are here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/.
The instructions for mapping the other blog to a subdomain can be found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-subdomain/.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.

Ok many thanks for the answer. So now that I know that wordpress does not support mapping blogs to mydomain/blog1 mydomain/blog2, I’ve created a new blog (emilbarton.wordpress.com) in order to have it as my primary blog and have the other blogs appear as blog1.emilbarton.com and blog2.emilbarton.com. However, the domain emilbarton.com was initially mapped to blog1 and I can’t manage to have it mapped to emilbarton.wordpress.com (they say that emilbarton.com is already mapped to another wordpress blog though I set the primary domain of blog1 not to be emilbarton.com). How would you do?
Thanks again in advance! -
I think moving the mapping over will require the handiwork of an Automattician, so I’ll tag this thread for staff assistance. Make sure you’re subscribed to the thread in case they need more information from you here to plot the correct course (a bit of mapping joke there…I’ll show myself out) :-).
