How can I recover deleted text in a post?
-
Hi,
I have by mistake deleted a long piece of text that I wrote in a post in the app today.
It looks like it should be possible to store the last 25 revisions for a post, but I just can’t seem to find the Post Settings>Status>Revisions that I have read about.
Would be very grateful for any help! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can locate the Revisions in the Post editor.
– Go to My Sites > Blog Posts
– Edit the Post
– Click on Post Settings > Status > Revisions to the rightOnce you click on Revisions, you’ll see all your revisions. Compare your revisions and check which one you wish to recover. A slider is provided to check prior revisions.
If you fail to find the desired revision then sadly you have lost it. As only 25 revisions are saved.
Hope this helps!

Thank you Krutidugade for the response.
It’s not there under “posts”, not even a draft, so I assume it’s just gone, right? I was just about to publish when the screen on my phone went weird. -
Hey there,
Sorry for late response. Check if your post is trashed. If yes then restore trash posts by following these steps:
– Go to wp-admin Dashboard > Posts > Trash
– Select the posts you wish to restore
– Select ‘Restore’ filter from dropdown
– Click ApplyRefer this documentation to know more about it:
