How can I recover my site after misspelling the domain name?

I finished my website edits on WordPress and when it was time to go live, on the final step of putting in the website url in the settings I misspelled it. Now I can’t find my site and I’m going crazy. Is there a way to recover it?

    Hi there!

If you registered for a domain name to get rid of the .wordpress.com and you misspelled the domain, I’m afraid there’s no way to correct that. However, you can cancel that domain name and register the correct one. You won’t lose your site, your content, and the edits you made because it will still be available at http://theonefromthesun.wordpress.com/

Note that you have 2 days to completely cancel a domain to get a refund as stated in this support article: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/

To cancel the misspelled domain, head over to your Store -> My Upgrades page here: wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
    – Click the Cancel and Refund link when you hover on the domain upgrade
    – To complete the cancellation, click the Confirm Cancellation link in the confirmation email you receive. If you didn’t receive the email, try checking your spam folder. If you’re using Gmail, please check the Social tab.

    Here’s more information on that:
