How can I redirect a link to an old post to the updated post?
-
I did a post a while ago and it was referenced in several pages. I updated it several times since but just realized that the link changed and the old link is bad.
I am looking for a way to permanently redirect the OLD links to the NEW pages. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Could you send me the new and old links? If you changed the URL to the post in one of the updates, we may not be able to do anything, but I want to double check using the actual links.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the details.
Changing the publish date of the post changes the URL of the post which is why your old links don’t work.
There isn’t a way to have both links work at the same time, but you could change the date on the post back to the old date if you shared the old one more than the new one. Then the new one would stop working though.
The way to avoid this in the future is to create new posts when you want to do an update, include a link to the old post (or copy information from the old post) and then publish the update as a new separate post. Then both links will work.
I wish I had better news.
