How can I redirect my readership from Google to my new WordPress account?

Just started a WordPress account and just want to keep the 970 people from my old Google+ account.
Any way I can keep those stats for the new site?

Hi there. Google+ is not a blogging platform, and it’s also not possible to move stats and subscribers between WordPress.com and non-WordPress platforms.
What you can do is connect your blog to your Google+ account via Publicize in Settings ->Sharing on the dashboard. Then, every time you publish a new post on your blog, it will automatically be shared on your Google+ profile as well. https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#google-profiles-and-pages
You can also post to your Google+ profile telling your followers there of your new blog and encouraging them to go follow it. But they’ll have to do that themselves.
