How can I register deleted site?

  Hi,
  I wanted to register “xxxx.wordpress.com” but WP doesn’t give me an option, as it’s already registered. But, when I checked the site I see “xxxx.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.”

  How can I get this site?

  hi there!

  once a blog has been deleted, it is not possible to somebody else register that domain again, i’m afraid. you can read more about that recycling blog addresses here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/

  I understand now and it does make a sense. although, if somebody, beginner, use a good name for few days and never comes back – in that case it doesn’t make a sense, if you know what I mean…
