How can I remove a self-hosted blog from a WordPress.com account?
-
I want to remove a self-hosted blog from my wordpress.com account. I tried deleting all files and databases, but the blog keeps appearing listed on the “My Blogs” section of the Dashboard. I tried then to reinstall everything to see if that would activate some options, but no. Help?

The self-hosted blog is a WordPress.org manual install on a domain I bought somewhere else.
I see from the forums that this is a common issue, without solution, I fear. Looks like I will forever see my dead blogs appear on my account. Maybe the guys at WordPress wanna make you wish you had never linked your blogs in the first place.

This is a common issue, easily solved. Now that we have the URL, I flagged this thread for staff so they can remove that one.

@raincoaster: I see, thanks a lot for the flagging, and the quick response. Is there a way to do it by myself?
I’d like to run a lot of tests, and the convenient part of linking your blogs is that you can log in from a single place to manage them.
I’d like to learn to do it alone, instead of having to come here every time I wanna do this. Is there a way?

Hi there,
You’re all sorted! I’ve removed johnpgranados.mx/aprende/ from your account. You shouldn’t see it going forward!
Have a great rest of your week.
