How can I remove a site that is not mine and is private from my 'sites' menu?

There is a site that we were required to be admin for at university. It still appears on my ‘sites’ tab even though it is private and I dont have the rights to delete it. How do I remove it from appearing in my menus?

If you want to leave a blog that you have been made an official user of by way of invitation you can use the leave a blog option. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#leave-a-blog
