How can I remove b.gif from my RSS feed and/or server it using HTTPS.
-
We have a blog and are syndicating the RSS feed on the front page of our website. The RSS feed contains hidden tracking gifs (b.gif).
The hidden gifs are served using HTTP and this causes warnings when we display the feed on the front page of our site in HTTPS.
I would like to turn off tracking for the RSS feed that we syndicate on our home page. I can do this in code, but I’d like to know if there’s a way to turn it off in the WP admin.

Can it be served via HTTPS? It breaks sites that include the feed that use HTTPS. For now I’ve just filtered them out entirely.

No, that would break the feed for anything that did not serve it via HTTPS, which is the majority.
