How can I remove comment column in Chunk theme?

  I am using the Chunk theme, and I want to create a static home page without the option to leave comments. Of course, I can simply disable the option, but the column on the let remains there. I was wondering if there were any way to get a page without that column, so my static page could have one large, centered picture.

  Hello there.

  If you want the entire column to disappear from your Chunk-themed site, you’d have to upgrade to Custom Design:
  en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
  Because this is a design element created by the theme’s developers, you’ll need the upgrade in order to change their CSS code. If you choose this option and need assistance with the code, let us know and we can assist.

  Of course, if you don’t want to upgrade, you could always change to a new theme that doesn’t include this sidebar. Here are some themes that have a one-column layout option:
