how can i remove my email

i’m trying to open a new account and it tells me that my email is already in use. when i try to recover password with this email, it doesn’t recognise the email.
what should i do?

Hi,
Make sure you’re logged out of account #1 when you attempt to create account #2. Alternatively, just switch to a different browser. Then, go to the new account login page, https://wordpress.com/start/delta-discover/user, to begin the process of creating a new account

Thanks for the advice but I already logged out. it doesn’t let me use my email. from one hand it tells me its already in use and from the other hand it doesn’t even recognise the email address when I’m trying to reset the password for the “existing account”.
what should i do?

After logging out you may have to clear the browser cache and cookies to be able to create a new account. However, you certainly won’t be able to use the same email address you’ve used previously on another account. Not unless you free up that email address first.

Not sure if I follow you, but you’d obviously have to be logged in to use the reset password option. So this is an entirely separate issue. I’ve added a tag to the sidebar of the topic to call for staff attention.

@getmishu23 can you let staff know what email you’re trying to enter? You can write it here; our forum software will redact it from public view while still allowing staff to see it.
