How can I remove my name next to every post?
-
Hi Dears,
every time I create a post, my profile name appears next to it and my name is linked to a page where the post content is reloaded and at the beginning of it there is the title AUTHOR: FRANCESCA REBOANI (my name of course).
I think that is aesthetically awful, but the worse that is online there are a big quantity of stuff that are linked to me. This, for a privacy reasons, mustn’t be.
I would like hide my name. How can I do It?
Thank you very much, in advance, for your support.
Bye FrancescaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You will require a Premium theme upgrade bundle purchase in order to get the ability to edit the CSS and and do what you want to do.
For new accounts that do not have existing individual upgrades being renewed, going forward from September 1st, 2014, most individual upgrades, except for guided transfers, premium themes, domain mapping and site redirects are now bundled into Premium and Business single plans that users can pay for annually.

Thanks a lot for your advices.
I don’t want to become premium so I’m going to try with the forum that you suggested. -
There is no free way to do what you want to do. That CSS forum I linked to is only for those who do have the custom design upgrade. Unless you buy the upgrade than do not post there.

Ok, sorry.
For this one is not important, but now I know how to do for that one that I put in another platform…I hope.
Thanks -
You don’t have to display your full username as the author of posts, comments, etc. In the WordPress User Profile (or “My Profile”) support page, there is a blank where you can enter a name to be displayed publicly. I presume you could enter one letter. Mine’s three letters long, “doc,” an abbreviation of the username.

There is no up to date list of such themes. Here’s one that’s backdated to 2011 http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/
-
Here’s a more recent list http://danielgreene.com/2014/07/20/blog-2014-free-wordpress-themes-that-show-author-bylines/

I just tested the suggestion I made above. Changed my publicly displayed name from a three letter to a one letter name. The author name on posts reflected the change immediately.

Hi!
At the end, I changed theme.
I choosed The Tonal theme.
For now I’m happy with this one.
Thank for your help. -
