How can I remove subscribe block?
-
I’ve recently put together a site using a WordPress template: http://www.hazelbuller.co.uk
I’m fairly happy with how it looks so far, apart from every page has a huge “Sign up for my weekly thoughts on Personal Development” header/block? that I can’t remove. It doesn’t show when I click to edit an individual page so where is this hidden? How do I go about removing it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey,
Yeah, I noticed that too — looks like it’s added in the footer area!
You can follow this guide to edit the footer and remove that block:
https://wordpress.com/support/edit-the-footer/If you want to add a subscribe form just to a specific page or post instead, you can navigate to Pages or Posts, edit that page, and add a Subscribe Block — it’ll only show up there.
Here’s the guide for the Subscribe Block too:

Hi there!
I checked your site and noticed that it’s coming from the Pages template that you use on your Homepage. (Although, good guess @theumair07!)
To remove that section, please follow these steps:
- Click Appearance → Editor to access the Site Editor.
- Click Templates
- Click Pages from the templates that appear on the right side.
- Once the Pages template opens, click on List View to make editing easier. You can find out more about using List View here.
- You’ll find the template part called “Sign Up” which you can select and delete (Or click the three dots and click Delete).
Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

Click Save after removing the block. This will update all pages that use the “Pages’ template, so the entire section will be removed from other pages as well. :)
Hope that helps! Please give those steps a try and let me know if I can help you with anything else.
