How can I remove the blog name in the footer and replace it with something more

    I want to remove the blog name e.g. “blog theme by” in the footer of the page. How can I do this I have tried the widgets and sidebars but cannot see the equivalent for footers?

    Hi there,

    The footer credit is required to be displayed and unaltered according to our terms of service.

    Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer. (See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)

    No other content can be added alongside the credit. Motif does offer Footer widget areas, which you’re already using, but those are considered a completely separate region of the site’s design.
