How can I remove the sharing buttons and tags from under my sticky note?

  I need to keep a note at the top describing my blog, but the tags and sharing buttons are clutter. I don’t want them there. I also don’t like the beige color of the sticky note. Any way to change it? Is there any other way to design the page so I can keep this info at the top?

  You can disable the sharing option on specific posts or pages by using the checkbox at the bottom of the edit page.

  As to changing the sticky post’s color, it can only be done with the Custom Design upgrade.
