How Can I Remove theSecond Set of Categories?

  I would like to remove the second set of Categories that show up on my page. I have ‘Books, Communications, etc …’ and it shows up in blocks–which I like–but it also shows up a second time with the words from my subtitle.

  Is there a way to remove this? There’s no reason to have two sets of the same thing; the second looking sloppy and disorganized.

  You are using the Motion theme and that theme has a built in way to display all of the categories in a navigation bar at the top. To turn that off, go to Appearance → Theme Options, check the option that says “Hide category links in top navigation” and click the Update Options button.

  Hi. I tried that, but it gets rid of the wrong one. I want to remove the one under ‘Latest Entries>>.’ Any way to do that?

  Those can’t actually be removed directly, but if you had a Custom Design upgrade, you could hide the section with a display:none; via custom CSS.
