how can i remove widgets at the bottom of my sidekick-themed blog?

  why are widgets appearing at the bottom of the pages on my blog? my theme is sidekick, it’s supposed to be widget-free. how can i remove them?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The same thing is happening on the theme demo – for example:
  http://sidekickdemo.wordpress.com/category/books/
  This is an error that needs to be fixed by WP.
