If it is still in the “grace” period, then staff can help you do that, and this has been tagged for staff attention.
If it is outside of the grace period then that can get expensive and I think it cost $80 on top of the normal renewal fee. This isn’t something that is in the control of wordpress.com, but is instead in the control of the domain registration partner.
