How can i replace the title and discription with the custom header i upload?
-
I have uploaded a new header in my tarski theme…It is properly working and all…but i would like to know if i could hide the blog title and description as i have already given that in the new picture.
Please help… -
You can go to Settings>General, delete both, Save changes.
But deleting the blog name is not good for search engines, I think.
-
You can make it invisible. Go to Dashboard -> Design -> Custom Image Header. There should be a button at the top that says something like “hide text”
-
Does that not just hide the tagline? I thought it would leave the name visible.
Completely deleting the name is TERRIBLE for your google juice.

That refers to k2, that lizii uses; Tarski (tinylittlethoughts’ question) and several other themes don’t have the option.
-
Really? I haven’t used Tarski, but every theme that I have used has the option. I’ve used about 4, though, so I guess I could be missing something.
-
lizii, if you remember which were the other ones you’ve tried please let me know – I like collecting this kind of information.
-
Lizzii, yeah am using the tarski theme…and as panaghiotisadam says…tarski theme doesn’t have that option in it!
And deleting the title of the blog…seems to be one ‘disappointing’ solution…for me…!
So it leaves me with no choice at all…..expect a change of theme…!If lizii could help me with the preferred themes… :)
Thank you all for replying…!

As does Ambiru, Benevloence, Neat!, K2, Blix, Contempt, Daydream. I’m sure there are many others. You can just preview them in the select themes page, and see if your blog name comes up at the top :)
