How can I reset my password if I have been locked out for 24 hours?
-
WordPress has eaten my password. It refused one. I changed it. It refused that one. I changed it. Now I am locked out for 24 (now 18) hours. This is WordPress Hell, and I don’t really like it. Can you help me?

http://www.susangainenartist.com/ is NOT hosted by WordPress.COM.
This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Interestingly, my fabulous Web Goddess who can log into my site, changed the password, passed it on to me, and I tried to log in. No luck. WordPress (whichever) distinguishes between the Web Goddess and the Desperate Author, and it is blocking me for the next 17 hours for too many log in attempts.
Thanks for your help. At least I know where I’m supposed to be.
