How can I reset the Blog Stats widget to zero?

  I just added a blog stats widget to count the number of hits but it started at several hundred. Is this the number of hits since the site was created?

  It’s not possible to reset the Blog Stats Widget. The number that it displays reflects the total amount of visits your blog has received since you created it.
