how can I reset the theme?
-
Hello, I totally goofed while trying to set my blog as a website – I have done it successfully for another wordpress blog, but for whatever reason I messed up big time with this one: http://mylanguages4u.wordpress.com/. As you can see, the default Home page is gone! How can I recover it? As I have basically nothing yet on this site, I would like to restart it from scratch and keep of course the name. How can i do that?
I ended up goofing, because I was trying to edit the Home page but could not see it in the list of my pages on my dashboard. why is that? Any help welcome. ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

OK it’s not a big problem, you need to set a new page as your front page. So from the dashboard for your blog go to ‘Settings’ -> ‘Reading’ and from there make sure it’s set to front page displays ‘your latest posts’ and then from the drop-down menu ‘Front Page:’ you can set any page you’ve created as your front page, after you save changes the page will then act as your homepage. I hope this helped.

Some themes have a “Home” or a Blog” etc. tab that’s just a tab. There is no actual page to edit. It’s coded into the theme template and it cannot be removed. This is how to deal with that situation. > http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/hide-pages/#hide-from-the-navigation-menu

Also note that you can find a list of the themes that do or do not have this “Home” or “Blog” etc. feature here. > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/category/page-tabs/
