How can I resize a thumbnail image?

my video is 720 x 540, but when I try to save a thumbnail it shows up in the corner of the embedded video at about a quarter of the size of the video. Please advise me how to set a thumbnail that will be exactly the same size as my video. Thank you.

Here is the link, as you can see the video on the top has a small thumbnail, this is what happens when I play the video and choose a frame. The video below it has the correct size, this is what happens when I do not choose a frame, it looks fine, but I need to be able to choose thumbnails. Please advise.

Hm, that is rather odd. Do you have any luck if you re-save the thumbnail one more time?

I have tried re-saving, and also reloading the video several times, always get the same result.

thank you, i have also deleted any inactive plug-ins and that had no effect, still same issue, please let me know what i should try next, i’m out of ideas and really frustrated.

ok, I may have narrowed it down a bit, it seems to function with other themes, I am currently using Parament 1.1 by Automattic, is there something specific to this theme that does not support thumbnails?

It definitely is specific to that theme.

On line 566 of your theme’s style.css, it has the following rule:
```
.hentry img {
max-width: 720px;
width: auto;
height: auto;
}
```
The width/height rules are overriding the width/height specified by VideoPress.

You should be able to. Try just this:

}
```

Well I tried this and it did not work, it just centered the small image. I have moved on to a new template and no longer have this issue. Thank you for your assistance and patience. JG
