How can I restore lost images I can see in the editor?

  I accidentally deleted some images from my media library, so they are lost. When I view the posts with missing images, I do not see the lost images. But, when I edit the posts with missing images, I do see them. How can I get those images in the editor to reappear in my post?

  Download them the next time you see them and re-add them.

  That does not seem to work. When I loaded the images back into my media library, they still do not appear in my posts. Any other ideas?

  Perhaps they need a different path?
