How can I restore my header image?
-
I deleted my haeder image display fuction… how can I restore it? Is there a way to do it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you removed the header image, you just go to Appearance > Header and re-upload it from your computer (or upload a different one). For best results, the images must be sized to the exact dimensions specified by the theme.

No, I didn’t remove my header image, I removed the function that lets you put a header image on the header itself…

It’s not possible to remove any functionality from free hosted WordPress.com blogs. All blogs wearing the same theme are using the same template. We users cannot access those underlying template files; only Staff can. I see your blog is wearing the Vertigo theme. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/vertigo/ Do you have a custom design upgrade? If so, then have you removed the header image using CSS editing?
-
I had to use the vertigo theme because its better without header.
In the settings of appearance appears:
(appearance – header -) Remove Image
“This will remove the header image. You will not be able to restore any customizations”.
With the vertigo I can upload images… ?!
-
Another question… is it possible to substract the “leave a comment” box from a page?
Thanx!
-
“You will not be able to restore any customizations” simply means you can’t make the header image show up again unless you re-upload it from your computer.
To remove the comment box, you edit the page, disable comments and pingbacks in the Discussion module, Update. If you’re seeing no Discussion module, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.
