How can I restore my homepage?

  Help! I wrote to ask for assistance with this a couple of days ago, and while waiting for your reply, have tried to resolve this myself, but have had no success. When I click on my new blog’s “Home” tab, I see the error message “Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.” When I have attempted to access the home page via the dashboard, I cannot see the home/Hello world! page listed among those pages I have created.

  Would you please help me to restore the homepage so that I can continue to develop this fledgling blog? I will be grateful for your confirmation that you have received this request for help, and for any assistance you can offer.

  Your frontpage is set to showing the latest posts. This 404 error message occurs because you haven’t published a post yet. Sorry about the inconvenience.
