How can I restore my site to its virgin state prior to customizations?
-
I started with a theme that I discovered wasn’t right for me, then switched to a different them but it doesn’t look anything like the theme’s template because of the customizations I had done to the prior theme. Is there a way to start over so everything is fresh when starting on a new theme?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! While there isn’t a button to return to your theme’s default settings, a few steps can be followed to achieve this:

Additionally, if you have added customized CSS to your site, you can click Appearance → Customize. Click CSS in the right hand menu, then select the added CSS code, delete it, and save your changes. This is a permanent action, so be certain that you want all of this coding deleted before you update you page.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks much and happy blogging!

Thanks for that suggestion. I have spent some time trying to figure this out and that link you offered to a prior support response does not appear to be current : https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-restore-theme-to-default?replies=2
It states to navigate to Appearance>Header>Restore Original Header Image
There is no such option when I click on Appearance in my dashboard sidebar menu for Appearance. Is there some other location in my dashboard I should be starting from?
All I really want to do is start over and just save my registered url of fortmyerscre.com. Of course without having pay additional.

Hello again!
All I really want to do is start over and just save my registered url of fortmyerscre.com. Of course without having pay additional.
If that’s your top choice, then let’s go in that direction. If you start a new site, I will transfer your domain, fortmyerscre.com/, to it.
To start a new site, go to My Blogs → Create Another Blog. Follow the process of registering a new site, then get back to me and let me know the new address. I can than map your custom domain to the new site.
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

when I try creating the new blog, it shows the three options – beginner, premium, or business. it looks like I will have to pay again to have the new blog with premium benefits. the current blog is premium. please clarify

Just start a free site. I’ll worry about the transfer of upgrades. I’ll take them from the old site and apply them to the new.

You are all set. I moved your upgrades from fortmyerscre.wordpress.com to fmcre.wordpress.com/. The new site is now mapped with your custom domain and your Premium upgrade has been applied to the new blog as well.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks very much.
