How can I restrict access to edit projects to different users?
-
I have created a large number of projects on my wordpress site, is there a way to allow certain users to edit a particualr project but no others?
I only want these users to be able to edit a particular project, with no access to other projects or ability to post etc.
is this possible? Any help would be great thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am not sure how your “projects” is organized but perhaps you might want to checkout this plugin:
PublishPress Capabilities – User Role Editor, Access Permissions, Admin Menus
It allows you to control which user can edit which page. You can setup roles for each user.

Hi there @gpwillment Are you referring to the site at http://gpwillment.wordpress.com/ or a different site? If a different site, please share the site address with us so we can make sure you are getting the support you need.
Keep in mind that this support forum you’ve posted to assists users with free websites hosted on the WordPress.com platform. WordPress.com (where we are ) and WordPress are separate entities with different documentation and support forums. More information about the differences can be found here: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/
In case you need help with a site using the open source WordPress software, head over to https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.
