How can I restrict an archives page to certain dates?

  I have worked out how to create archives pages using shortcode, but I would like to make it so you go to the archives page, go to the month, and that takes you to a page which has a list of the titles of each post, in chronological order, from that month. Then you can click on the title of the post, and it will take you to that post.

  The shortcode does not give a date range option. How would I do this?

  Hi there,

  There isn’t a shortcode that displays posts by a date range like that — that’s what the monthly archive page on your blog is meant to do, like this page with your posts from March 2015:

  http://thesharkinthering.com/2015/03/

  Another option, if you want to display a list of titles, is to use the Display Posts Shortcode. You can start by adding a tag to all the posts you want to display together (like “March 2015” for your posts from this month). Then, you can use the display posts shortcode and limit it to posts with that tag.
