how can I retrieve blogs in progress?

I had just finished writing a blog and inadvertently clicked and the stats page came up and I was unable to find my unpublished post. All the help topics about autosave and on screen editors and post retrieval I dont seem to be able to find in order to enable them

At the moment you have two published posts, I can’t seem to find other posts. Unfortunately it’s not possible to retrieve unsaved or trashed blog posts. Please review this guide to learn more about posts revision.
