How can I retrieve my comments that dropped off my site?

  A few days ago, all my earliest comments were gone from my site.
  Can I retrieve them in some way?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Which posts or pages were they one and why do you think they are missing?
  When you go here > Dashboard > Comments > Approved comments are found here http://justiceandjailsconsidered.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit-comments.php?comment_status=approved
  Can you locate them there?

  The three comments from Jon you see on my site are the only ones remaining for some unknown (to me) reason. I had five others that are gone.
