How can I rid html language around uploaded photos.
-
How do I remove wrapped around html language in a table I coded. I coded/uploaded photos into the table, but I can see some of the html language around the photos. If I delete the language it alters the table basically.

If you can see code, then there is something wrong with that code and the browser does not know how to interpret it and so it displays it.
If you go here: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fbluebirdgrainfarms.wordpress.com%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0 there are 98 errors on your main page which has only one post.

The post is bluebirdgrainfarms.wordpress.com
And when I did not place the photos, no html language appeared. All that was present was the question marks in the upper corners. As you can see, I am trying to have these distinct areas, or tables if that is what you want to call them, where particular topical posts are located, then bloggers can go click on either one and participate. But my html skills are rusty. -
This might help you on writing links: http://faq.wordpress.com/2007/07/01/how-to-write-links/

It might be easier to just use unique categories. Does this help at all?

Okay yes it is helpful, but it doesn’t looke like I can make the colored tables or distinct sections like I have on the front page.

Check out this link: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_tables.asp
Toward the bottom it has some links about background color and such in tables.

Sacred Path, that is a great site, thanks. I will browse through the site more tomorrow and work on a straight colored table with the content I already have. Both you and Raincoaster are very helpful–really appreciate it. If you think of anything else, let me know. Cheers.

Oh and I took out the photos so the html language is gone. The blog has not officially entered the blogosphere yet.

I went further into the forum and found Raincoaster stating to do this:
<table>
<tr>
<td>row 1 column 1</td><td>row 1 column 2</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td>row 2 column 1</td><td row 2 column 2</td>
</tr>
</table>and the html language showed just like mine did. I posted another topic in the forum to see if anyone else or if you two were around. I found http://www.somethingunpredictable.com/
and this blog’s table with the orange background has 2 links. I am thinking I can do something like this with the 2 links being 2 different blogs. But how to do this? -
I know I am basically reiterating last nights topic, but I am trying to essentially put a couple of large tabs that are centered in my front page. I saw a theme that had tabs under its header, and I want to people to be able to click on 2 separate tabs as large as what is on my front page now and go its own distinct posts. I am still working on the html, but it seems that there is something already in place withing wordpress.
